Arayik Harutyunyan Met with Ministers of RF Enlightenment and Higher Education and Science in Moscow
The RA Minister of Education and Science, Arayik Harutyunyan, who is on a working visit in Russia, has met with Olga Vasilyeva, the RF Minister of Enlightenment, and Michael Kotyukov, the Minister of Science and Higher Education. During the meeting, the RF Minister of Enlightenment, Olga Vasilyeva the officials agreed that cooperation in Education is important for Armenian-Russian relations. Arayik Harutyunyan and Olga Vasilyeva discussed issues about teaching Armenian in the southern areas of RF, attempts by Armenians on implementing chess in Russian schools, improving Russian in RA secondary schools, and training potential teachers. The RA Minister of Education and Science, Arayik Harutyunyan, also met with Michael Kotyukov, the RF Minister of Science and Higher Education. They discussed issues about new opportunities of Armenian-Russian cooperation; strengthening relations of higher education; education of RA students with interstate agreement in RF higher institutions; condition of Armenian-Russian university.
The RA Minister of Education and Science, Arayik Harutyunyan, participated also in the 19th session of "Intergovernmental Commission on Armenian-Russian Economic Cooperation".
The Minister visited the RA Embassy in the RF, the cultural center near the Embassy, and “Renaissance” Sunday school. He also met with Gayane Abraamyan, the Director of Moscow Lazarians School No. 2042 .
