New Memorandums for Strengthening Ties between Labor Market and Education
The graduation ceremony for short-term mechanic candidates from the Lori Regional State College took place at the Vanadzor Technological Center. The GIZ cooperation had supported the project. Artak Aghbalyan, RA Ministry of Education and Science and Vocational Education Department head; Julia Stakyan, GIZ professional; and the Director of Lori Regional State College, Tigran Tadevosyan welcomed the guests. Social partners, employers, and representatives of Vanadzor educational institution were present.
Students of “Modeling and Fashion Designers” of Lori Regional State College presented their personal collections.
At the end of the event, 2 memorandums were signed between “Lori Regional State College” SNCO and Enterprise Incubator Foundation at the Vanadzor Technological Center. According to the memorandum, the companies, included in the Center, will support the college in the development of “Mechatronics”. Another memorandum was signed between "Lori Regional State College" SNCO and "Gloria" Sewing Plant, which will improve the students' sewing technology practice, and graduates will be placed in employment.
