Armenia-EU New Educational Dialogue
RA Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Arevik Anapiosyan, has received the delegation headed by Vasilis Maragos, the Head of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Eastern Partnership Division of the European Commission’s Neighborhood Affairs General Directorate in Armenia. Welcoming the guests, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science underlined that education is one of the priorities of the new Government of Armenia and in that context it is an important direction within the framework of Armenia-EU cooperation. The process of educational programs implemented in Armenia with the support of the European Union was discussed during the meeting. The sides have also highlighted further cooperation. The Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Arevik Anapiosyan, has stated that in 2018, at the Armenia-EU partnership committee meeting held in December on behalf of RA Ministry of Education and Science, she proposed to start a new dialogue based on the educational development platform, which was included in the operational conclusions adopted during the meeting.
Vasilis Maragos conveyed the EU-representatives’ readiness referring to the discussion on innovative ideas of the development of education.
